Let’s face it, owning a business or managing a team is hard work. And unless someone has stood in your shoes, they may never know what you've been through. If you are like most you’ve managed, for the most part, to do it on your own.
But you've somehow made it! That is quite an accomplishment. If you didn't realize it, here are the hard and true facts:
And the unfortunate reality is that many of the ones that are still in business are burnt out, stressed, and wondering if they will make it another year.
Some research suggests the primary reason small businesses fail is due to the leaders failure to attract and retain quality talent (CNBC, 2019). In other words, they fail to develop quality hiring systems, training programs, and adequate compensation programs to motivate their team. In short, many business leaders may lack the knowledge (not the skillset) of how to intentionally build a culture that drives the performance required to run a successful business.
Others believe the failure is due to a lack of adequate training, coaching, or finances. That is what this survey is about. We want to research the stress that you've gone through, and may still be going through on your journey to success.
This longitudinal study will collect data and make a comparison between participants to find correlations in personality traits, characteristics, environment, and more so that others who travel down the same road have a clear understanding of what it takes to succeed.
While we will use your data for our research and analysis, your identity will remain completely confidential. We will not sell your data or use it in any other way than what we just reported to you.
